Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Rare. You control one of five characters, either from the Battletoads or the Double Dragon series, and fight through levels by punching and kicking waves of enemies. Signature mechanics include screen by screen progression, where you clear all enemies to move forward, and special attacks that are unique to each fighter, like Rash's giant fist or Jimmy's whirlwind kick.
