Game Overview

Ever played basketball and thought, "This would be better with explosions"? That’s basically Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball in a nutshell. It’s like someone took regular hoops, cranked the chaos to 11, and handed out rocket launchers at halftime.

You pick from these ridiculous cyberpunk-ish teams—half of them look like they escaped from a dystopian sci-fi flick—and then it’s full-court carnage. Invisibility cloaks, grenades, players getting knocked flat on their backs after a particularly brutal dunk… and somehow, you still gotta score points. The two-player mode is where it really shines, though. Nothing bonds friends (or destroys friendships) like sucker-punching them mid-layup.

It’s janky, loud, and absolutely doesn’t take itself seriously. If you miss the days when sports games were just unhinged playgrounds for nonsense, this one’s a time capsule worth dusting off.
