Play Bomberman Max : Red Challenger Online

Bomberman Max: Red Challenger is basically the twin sibling of Blue Champion—same explosive action, just with a red coat of paint. You play as Max instead of Bomberman, though let’s be honest, they’re pretty much the same guy in different outfits. The levels look a little different, but the goal’s unchanged: drop bombs, blow up blocks, and take out enemies before they get you.

The twist here is the Charabombs, these weird little creatures you collect and train like Pokémon. Some are exclusive to the Blue version, so if you’re a completionist, you’ll need a friend with that cartridge to trade and unlock everything. It’s a neat idea, though half the time I just stuck with my favorite fire-breathing bomb buddy and called it a day.
