Play BS Super Mario USA - Dai-3-kai Online

Weird, dreamlike Mario 2 remix—pull turnips, toss them at Birdo, but everything feels slightly off, like playing a VHS tape that’s been rewound too many times.

Game Overview

BS Super Mario USA - Dai-3-kai is one of those weird, forgotten SNES games that feels like stumbling into an alternate universe version of Mario. It’s based on Super Mario Bros. 2 (the US one with all the vegetable-pulling and Shy Guys), but with this surreal, almost dreamlike quality—probably because it was originally broadcast in Japan via satellite for limited-time play sessions. No saves, no do-overs, just you and a very strange Mario adventure.

The controls are exactly what you’d expect—jump on enemies, yank turnips out of the ground, toss stuff at Birdo—but the levels have this hazy, slightly off-kilter vibe, like someone remixed the game while half-asleep. It’s short, it’s quirky, and unless you’re emulating, you’ll never play the exact same version twice. A neat little time capsule for Mario fans who think they’ve seen it all.
