You control an athlete through six different events, including skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding. The main objective is to beat the high score in each event, either solo or against a friend. Signature mechanics change for each sport: in skateboarding, you build momentum by pumping on ramps to pull off aerial tricks, while the rollerblading event has you weaving through a slalom course, timing your cuts to avoid knocking down poles. The difficulty is uneven, with some events like flying the hang glider requiring very precise, almost finicky control.
