Game Overview

Ever wanted to drive a bulldozer through a Game Boy screen? Caterpillar Construction Zone lets you do just that—with way more dirt-flinging chaos than you'd expect from a tiny cartridge. You start by picking your machine (I always go for the backhoe first—something satisfying about that scooping motion), then it's straight to work: digging trenches, shoving boulders around, even rescuing stranded workers like some kind of construction superhero.

The missions start simple—clear this field, build that bridge—but things get surprisingly tricky when you realize boulders roll downhill and dirt piles have actual physics. Half the fun is messing up spectacularly before getting it right. And yeah, there's something weirdly zen about pixelated earthmoving once you get into the rhythm.

It's basically Tonka Trucks meets a puzzle game, but with that chunky GBC charm.
