I remember the first time I reached world 8-1—the music changes, the enemies get faster, and suddenly those precise jumps you’ve been practicing matter a lot more. The GBA version keeps the same tight controls, though the screen feels a little cramped compared to the original.

It’s still a great way to play if you want that classic Mario experience on the go. Just don’t expect any extra features beyond what the NES version had.
