Conflict: Desert Storm II—Back to Baghdad picks up right where the first game left off, tossing you back into Iraq with the same four-man squad. If you played the original, the controls will feel instantly familiar, though everything looks sharper on the GameCube. You still switch between team members on the fly, but now there’s a bigger arsenal to play with, and yeah, you get to hop into more vehicles this time (tanks included).
It’s not a huge leap forward, but the missions feel a bit more intense, and the AI actually puts up a decent fight. Just don’t expect anything revolutionary—it’s more like a polished-up version of what already worked. Still, if you liked the first one, this is a solid follow-up.
