Ever fire up an old MS-DOS game and immediately feel like you’ve been teleported back to 1993? Cosmic Sheriff does exactly that—it’s basically Asteroids if it had a caffeine addiction and a cowboy hat. You’re this lone space cop in a chunky pixelated ship, blasting rogue asteroids and smugglers while trying not to crash into the debris they leave behind.

The controls are dead simple—turn, thrust, shoot—but don’t let that fool you. After a few minutes, the screen fills up with so much chaos you’ll start sweating. There’s something weirdly satisfying about the way your shots ricochet off the edges of the screen, and the sound effects are pure nostalgia bait (that tinny "pew pew" never gets old).

It’s not deep, but it doesn’t need to be. You’ll either lose track of time or rage-quit after your third collision in a row. Either way, it’s a solid dose of that arcade-style tension we don’t get much anymore. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the theme music hours later.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
