Game Overview

Cyber Law was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that brought together various titles from the platform's early years. The game was developed by a small team whose name is not widely remembered today, but it fit right into the era of text-heavy, puzzle-oriented adventures that relied on player observation and logic rather than fast reflexes or complex graphics.

You control a digital investigator tasked with solving cyber crimes by analyzing emails, forum posts, and system logs. The main objective is to identify contradictions in evidence and pinpoint the culprits behind each case. Signature mechanics include comparing statements across different sources, tracing IP addresses through a simulated network interface, and occasionally decrypting simple codes. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, with a difficulty that spikes when clues are subtle or intentionally misleading. It feels like doing real detective work, if all your leads existed inside a monochrome terminal from thirty years ago.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
