Game Overview

Okay, so The Cyber Shinobi is basically what happens when you take a classic ninja game and dunk it in a vat of neon. You’ve got your katana, sure, but now it’s buzzing with some kind of energy, and those shurikens? They look like they were ripped straight out of a cyberpunk comic. The first level throws you right into it—dodging laser grids, slicing through robots that definitely didn’t exist in feudal Japan, and trying not to faceplant into spinning saw blades (learned that one the hard way).

It’s got that classic Shinobi feel—tight jumps, precise slashes—but with this weird, cool sci-fi twist. The music’s all synthy, the backgrounds glow like a Tokyo back alley at midnight, and yeah, it’ll kick your butt a few times. If you’ve ever wanted to play a ninja who feels like they time-traveled into Blade Runner, this is your game. Still holds up, even if the Master System’s color palette makes everything look like it’s been dipped in radioactive soda.
