Game Overview

Dr. Drago’s Madcap Chase (also known as Die total verrückte Rallye) is a strategic multiplayer game for up to eight players, blending elements of board games like Monopoly with a race across Europe and North Africa. Players compete in a rally divided into stages, each beginning with a TV moderator announcing a target capital city. The goal is to reach it first for a cash prize, navigating a map where dice rolls determine movement. Strategy comes into play as players choose their routes, manage money, and contend with property ownership—blue spaces offer income, while red ones drain funds.

Adding chaos to the race is Dr. Drago, a computer-controlled antagonist who relentlessly pursues the trailing player, sabotaging their progress by stealing money, destroying cards, or manipulating properties. To shake him off, players must pass rivals or use special cards—if Drago hasn’t already torn them up. The game cleverly mirrors history, starting in Western Europe before the fall of the Berlin Wall opens up the Eastern bloc. Victory goes to the richest player after all stages, whether by dominating races or shrewdly managing resources—though avoiding Dr. Drago’s antics is easier said than done.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
