Dragon Warrior with Interordi's graphic hack is like someone took my childhood NES cartridge and gave it a proper cup of coffee. Same old grind—you know, wandering Alefgard, smacking slimes for hours to afford a better sword—but now everything pops with cleaner sprites and richer colors. The first time I saw the overworld map, I actually paused just to take in how much sharper the trees and castles looked.

Don't worry, it's still brutally old-school underneath. You'll still get wrecked by a Drakee if you wander too far north too early. But there's something weirdly satisfying about seeing Princess Gwaelin's rescue scene with less pixelated hair. If you've played the original to death, this version makes those 50th slime fights slightly less eye-straining.

Best part? It doesn't try to "fix" the game—just gives it a visual facelift that somehow makes the grind feel fresher.
