Game Overview

Earthworm Jim on GBA is one of those weird, frantic platformers that somehow works. You're a worm in a high-tech suit, whipping your own head at enemies or using it as a grappling hook. The controls take some getting used to, but once it clicks, swinging around levels feels oddly satisfying.

The game doesn't take itself seriously at all. One minute you're platforming through a junkyard, the next you're racing through space on a rocket-powered hamster. The bungee-jumping section still makes me laugh—it's just so random.

Some levels drag a bit, especially the escort missions where you have to protect a helpless character. But the sheer creativity in the art and level design keeps it interesting. Earthworm Jim is chaotic, janky in places, but full of personality.
