Play Earthworm Jim GBA Online
Guide Earthworm Jim through wacky levels, jumping over obstacles, battling bizarre enemies, and using quirky weapons to save the day.
Earthworm Jim on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2002, a port of the classic side-scroller handled by a few different publishers like Majesco. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the GBA, a system packed with action platformers, and it brought its particular brand of weirdness to a portable screen.
You control Jim, an earthworm in a robotic suit, running and jumping through surreal levels filled with cows, chickens, and other odd enemies. Your main goal is to rescue Princess What's-Her-Name from the evil Queen Slug-for-a-Butt. You use a standard blaster, but the real fun comes from using Jim's own head as a whip to swing across gaps or as a projectile to hit distant switches. The game moves at a fast clip, and some sections demand precise timing, especially during the occasional shooter segments where Jim flies through space. It feels chaotic and inventive, a game that never takes itself too seriously.
