Fatal Racing (or Whiplash if you're in the US) is this gloriously chaotic MS-DOS racer from '95 where the tracks are basically rollercoasters with cars. You'll launch off ridiculous jumps, barrel through corkscrews, and try to wreck everyone else while somehow staying in first place. The car selection's decent, but honestly, half the fun is seeing how long you can survive before physics says "no" and sends you flipping into oblivion.

What really sells it are the little touches - all the AI drivers are named after sci-fi robots (Kryten, Robby, etc.), which you can change if you want, but why would you? The 640×480 mode was borderline unplayable on most PCs back then, but it looked surprisingly good if your rig could handle it. Split-screen multiplayer worked surprisingly well too, though good luck finding someone with an IPX network setup these days.

It's like someone took Stunts and Destruction Derby, cranked everything to 11, and then dared you to keep up. The in-car camera view is borderline useless when you're upside down in a loop, but that's part of the charm.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
