Game Overview

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection on PSP is basically the ultimate way to play this classic if you’re a fan. You get the original FFIV with its pixel-perfect charm, plus The After Years sequel—which honestly feels like a love letter to the first game, even if some of the mechanics are a little dated now.

The graphics got a nice bump in resolution, and the new CG cutscenes (especially for The After Years) look gorgeous on the PSP’s screen. There’s even a gallery mode if you just want to flip through artwork or rewatch those dramatic FMVs.

What’s cool is the exclusive stuff—like the Lost Babil boss fight, where you’ll need to juggle three different parties. It’s brutal, but in that satisfying FFIV way. And don’t skip Interlude, the short bridging chapter that ties the two games together. It’s not huge, but it’s a neat little extra if you’re invested in Cecil and the gang.

Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to dive deep into FFIV’s world, this is the version to grab.
