The battles are turn-based, but with a twist: you’ve got this AP system where actions cost points, so you can’t just spam attacks. Makes you think a little harder about each move.
What really hooked me was the job system. You collect these crowns that change your class—black mage, white mage, merchant (weirdly fun)—and mixing them up with your party keeps combat from getting stale. And yeah, it’s got that classic Final Fantasy vibe, but it’s simpler, almost cozy. The music’s great too, all soft piano melodies and sweeping orchestral bits.
