Play Frank's Super Mario World Online
Frank’s Super Mario World messes with your muscle memory—platforms are just slightly off, secrets pop up where they shouldn’t, but Yoshi still stomps like he always did. It’s like finding a lost SNES cart with levels that feel familiar but keep surprising you.

Frank’s Super Mario World is one of those rare ROM hacks that actually feels like it could’ve been an official expansion back in the day. You start off in a familiar-looking overworld, but then you hit the first level and realize something’s… different. Maybe it’s the way the platforms are arranged just slightly off from muscle memory, or that one secret exit that definitely wasn’t there in the original. Yoshi still feels perfect, though—no weird physics changes, just good old dino-stomping.
The new levels walk this great line between nostalgic and fresh—like stumbling upon a lost folder of Mario stages Nintendo forgot to release. Some will make you grin at the clever twists (wait, why is there a P-switch here?), while others will have you muttering "oh come on" as you fail a jump for the tenth time. If you’ve played the original to death, this is the version where you actually have to pay attention again.
Also, whoever designed the new secret exits clearly enjoys watching players suffer in the best possible way. I’m still finding new paths weeks later.
