Ghosts 'n Goblins is that brutal NES game where you play as Arthur, a knight in heart-shaped boxers, desperately trying to save a princess from a nightmare parade of zombies, demons, and flying fire-breathing... things. You start with a wimpy lance, but tossing axes or that weird torch weapon feels way better—if you can grab them before some red devil swoops in and ruins your day.

One hit and your armor shatters, leaving you in those ridiculous undies. Two hits and you're dead. The levels throw everything at you: crumbling platforms, waves of enemies, and bosses that feel downright unfair. And just when you think you've beaten it? Surprise—do it all over again, but harder.
