Play Giana Sisters 32k Online
You bounce through chunky pixel worlds with weird mushroom guys, hunting secrets while the sisters' ridiculous hair flops around—feels like digging up a glitchy but lovable VHS tape of classic platforming.
Giana Sisters 32k is one of those rare demakes that actually makes sense—somehow, they crammed the entire chaotic charm of the original into a tiny 32KB MS-DOS package. You still get the bouncy, slightly floaty platforming, those weird little mushroom enemies, and those chunky pixel gems that feel way more satisfying to collect than they should.
First level in, and it’s all there: the sisters’ ridiculous hair physics, the secret warp pipes hidden in awkward spots, and that weirdly catchy chiptune cover of the original theme. It’s janky in the best way—like playing a VHS tape of your childhood that’s been rewound one too many times. The controls take a minute to adjust to (that inertia is no joke), but once it clicks, you’ll be ricocheting off goombas—sorry, mushroom guys—like it’s 1987 again.
Honestly, it’s impressive how much personality they squeezed into something smaller than a Word doc. Just don’t blame me when you get the music stuck in your head.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
