Play Global Champion Online

Pick a fighter—maybe the jungle girl who swings like Tarzan—and throw down in fast, punchy matches across a global tournament. The pixel art’s janky but full of character, especially when you hit that final boss showdown.

Game Overview

Global Champion (or Kaiser Knuckle, depending on where you find it) is one of those arcade fighters that never got enough love. You pick from nine fighters—each with their own weirdly specific vibe, like a Taiwanese swordswoman or a German mutant—and jump into a worldwide tournament. The roster’s a fun mix: there’s a boxer, a ninja, even a jungle girl who fights like she’s swinging through vines.

Matches are quick and brutal—best two out of three—and the controls feel tight once you get the hang of them. After plowing through the main fighters, you’ll hit three bosses, including a final showdown with the General (who’s basically the reason the game’s called Kaiser Knuckle). The pixel art’s rough in that ‘90s arcade way, but it’s got charm. Grab a friend if you can; the AI’s decent, but nothing beats yelling at someone next to you when you pull off a last-second super.
