I remember picking up Iron Man on the PSP back in 2008, a portable take on the movie tie-in developed by Artificial Mind and Movement and published by Sega. It was one of those games that tried to capture the blockbuster feel on a handheld, fitting right into that era where PSP titles often bridged console-scale ambition with on-the-go play. You got to step into Tony Stark's boots, or rather, his suit, right from the early prototype stages in a cave to the full Iron Man experience.

You control Tony in the Iron Man armor, flying through open battle zones and completing mission-based objectives like destroying enemy bases or taking out waves of fighters. The core mechanics involve repulsor blasts, managing your suit's energy levels for attacks and flight, and unlocking better armor parts as you progress. The flying takes some practice to handle smoothly, especially during combat where you need to dodge missiles and line up shots. It can feel a bit challenging at times when enemies swarm you from all directions, but pulling off a fully charged Unibeam attack against a tank or boss never gets old. It's a straightforward action game that makes you feel powerful once you get the hang of maneuvering and unleashing firepower.
