Game Overview

Man, Knight Force takes me back—this was one of those games you'd stumble across in a bargain bin and end up playing way longer than expected. You’re this armored knight running through castles and forests, swinging your sword at skeletons and archers who absolutely do not want you to succeed. The controls are snappy, which helps because some of those jumps over spike pits still give me nightmares.

The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, all moody blues and flickering torches, and the music? Pure 16-bit adrenaline. It’s got that old-school difficulty where you’ll die a lot, but it never feels cheap—just the kind of game where you mutter "okay, one more run" at 2 AM. If you miss when games didn’t hold your hand, this is a time capsule worth cracking open.

Also, yes, there’s definitely a kidnapped princess. Some tropes are too good to resist.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
