KOPS is one of those games that came out as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though I don't recall the developer offhand. It fits right into that early '90s era of simple, maze-based action games that ran on just about any PC with a CGA or EGA display. There's no grand story or elaborate setup; you're just a cop in a blocky world, and things need cleaning up.

You control a small pixelated police officer who runs through single-screen maze levels. Your goal is to collect all the loot bags scattered around while avoiding or stunning the various enemies that patrol the corridors. Movement is grid-based but quick, and you have a limited jump to cross gaps or avoid threats. The real challenge comes from the enemy patterns and the tight level layouts that demand precise timing and route planning. It feels frantic but satisfying when you clear a tricky stage without losing a life.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
