Play Last Action Hero (Europe) Online
Punch through movie-set levels as Arnold’s character, drop-kicking goons while his pixelated voice yells ridiculous one-liners—it’s janky, but the sheer ‘90s cheese makes it weirdly fun.

Game Overview
Last Action Hero on SNES is basically what happens when you take Arnold Schwarzenegger’s most ridiculous movie and turn it into a side-scrolling brawler. You play as Jack Slater, punching your way through waves of goons who apparently didn’t get the memo that action heroes always win. The levels feel like movie sets—one minute you’re in a gritty alley, the next you’re fighting a cartoon cat with a grenade launcher (yes, really).
The combat’s a little clunky by today’s standards, but the over-the-top voice clips and cheesy one-liners make up for it. There’s something weirdly satisfying about drop-kicking a mob boss through a window while Arnold growls “You’re fired!” in pixelated glory. The soundtrack’s pure ‘90s arcade energy, all synth and electric guitar.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you grew up renting VHS tapes from Blockbuster or just love absurd action movies, this one’s a nostalgia trip worth taking. Just don’t expect Oscar-worthy gameplay—expect Schwarzenegger suplexing a guy onto a pile of dynamite.
