Last Days of Doom is one of those MS-DOS Classic Games releases that never got much attention back in the day, but it has a certain gritty charm if you're into unforgiving, low-budget adventures from that era. I don't recall who exactly developed or published it, but it fits right in with the experimental, often punishing titles that trickled out for DOS when shareware was king. It's not polished, but it has a mood all its own.

You control a lone survivor making their way through a grim, post-cataclysm landscape, screen by screen. Your main goal is simply to stay alive as long as possible while scrounging for supplies and fending off whatever twisted creatures cross your path. The game relies on simple directional movement and an action key to interact with objects or defend yourself; combat is clumsy and tense, often decided by timing rather than strength. Resources are desperately scarce, and death comes quickly if you aren't cautious. It feels bleak and unpredictable, like every decision might be your last.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
