Play Lemmings 2 - The Tribes Online

Pick a tribe, assign skills, and watch those little weirdos march toward disaster—until you make them dig, build, or even pole-vault to safety. Some tools click right away; others? You’ll sacrifice a few lemmings learning the hard way.

Game Overview

Lemmings 2: The Tribes takes everything weirdly addictive about the original and cranks it up—now with 12 tribes of little green-haired guys, each with their own vibe. You’ve got Highland lemmings in kilts, Egyptian ones building tiny pyramids, even circus performers who (somehow) juggle their way through danger. The goal’s the same—get them to the exit alive—but the tools get wilder. Ever seen a lemming pole-vault over a gap or skate across ice? You will.

The first few levels ease you in, but don’t get comfy. Some skills are straightforward (digging, climbing), while others—like the sand pourer that slowly builds ramps—make you pause and rethink your whole strategy. I wasted at least five lemmings figuring out the club basher doesn’t work on stone. Pro tip: start with the Classic tribe if you’re new—it’s basically the original game’s moveset.

What’s cool is how much replay there is. You can brute-force a level by barely saving enough lemmings, or obsessively tweak your approach to rescue every single one for that gold medal. And when you hit a wall with one tribe, just hop to another—no grinding, just fresh puzzles. The trainer levels are a lifesaver for testing weird skill combos without consequences.

It’s still Lemmings at heart, just with way more ways to accidentally doom your little guys. You’ll either love that or rage-quit by level 3.
