Lemmings came out on the Amiga in 1991, published by Psygnosis. It was one of those games that felt completely different from anything else at the time, a clever puzzle experience that stood apart from the platformers and shooters dominating the scene.

You don't control the lemmings directly; instead, you assign one of eight skills to individual creatures as they march mindlessly toward the exit. The challenge is in managing your limited number of each skill per level, planning the order of operations carefully to save the required number of lemmings. It starts simple but quickly demands precise timing and foresight, creating a satisfying tension between the creatures' relentless walking and your need to think several steps ahead.
