Little Big Adventure 2 (or Twinsen’s Odyssey, if you’re feeling nostalgic) is one of those weird, wonderful games that just sticks with you. You play as Twinsen, the hero who already saved his planet once—but now there’s something off about these new "visitors" lurking around, and your poor Dino-Fly buddy gets caught up in it. What starts as a simple rescue turns into this wild, conspiracy-filled trip across a world that somehow feels alive, even with those chunky '90s graphics.

The best part? You’ve got these different movement styles—sneaky, athletic, whatever fits the moment—and the game actually lets you figure things out your own way. No hand-holding, just you, some bizarre puzzles, and a bunch of aliens who probably shouldn’t be trusted. The humor’s goofy in that old-school way, and the controls are way smoother than the first game. It’s the kind of adventure where you’ll get distracted just talking to random NPCs because they’re all oddly charming.

If you missed this back in ’97, it’s still worth digging up. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the soundtrack for days.
