Download Lords Of Doom_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
A 1990 Amiga adventure-RPG where players control one of four survivors to purge a town of undead and supernatural enemies. Features first-person exploration, real-time combat, survival mechanics, and party management.
Game Overview
Lords of Doom came out on the Amiga in 1990, developed by Starbyte Software and published by Softgold. It was one of those many dungeon crawlers from the era that tried to blend first-person exploration with real-time action, offering a darker, more horror-infused take on the genre compared to some of its contemporaries.
You control a party of up to four characters, survivors tasked with cleansing a cursed town. You explore the environment screen by screen in a first-person view, managing your party's health, stamina, and equipment. Combat happens in real time; you swing your weapon or use magic directly against the creatures that appear. The game demands careful resource management and can feel quite punishing, with a constant pressure from enemies and dwindling supplies. It creates a tense, gritty atmosphere where every encounter feels consequential.
