Game Overview

So, the Edison mansion—this creepy old place everyone whispers about. Strange experiments, weird creatures, even a meteorite crash years ago. Now Sandy’s gone missing, and her boyfriend Dave’s convinced the creepy Dr. Fred took her. Problem is, he can’t storm the mansion alone. You pick two other students to tag along, and that’s where things get interesting.

Each kid has their own way of dealing with stuff—like, the jock might brute-force a door while the nerdy one hacks a panel. You switch between them on the fly, combining their skills to solve puzzles. Mess up, though, and someone gets tossed in the dungeon, which means scrambling to free them before things go full horror movie.

The old-school verb system (think "OPEN Door" or "TALK to Creepy Portrait") gives it that classic adventure game feel, but the multiple solutions keep it from feeling stale. And yeah, the GOG version bundles both the original and a spruced-up edition, so you can pick your preferred flavor of retro.

Honestly, it’s the kind of game where you’ll save often, because the Edisons don’t play fair.
