Game Overview

MATH BLASTER PLUS! came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed and published by Davidson & Associates. It was one of those educational titles that felt right at home on the platform, sitting alongside games that tried to make learning feel less like homework and more like an actual challenge. The screen filled with bright colors and simple graphics, typical for the era, but it had a certain charm that kept you coming back.

You control a small spaceship at the bottom of the screen, moving left and right to dodge incoming asteroids and enemy ships. Your main objective is to solve math problems that appear at the top; each correct answer lets you fire a shot to destroy obstacles or enemies. If you enter a wrong answer, your blaster won't fire, leaving you vulnerable. The game progresses screen by screen, with the math problems getting harder as you advance, and the pacing stays brisk enough to keep you alert. It feels like a tense race against time where every calculation counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
