Game Overview

Matrix Madness was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of early titles that captured the spirit of PC gaming in the late 80s and early 90s. The game was developed by a small team whose name has faded over time, but it remains a memorable entry for those who enjoyed straightforward, high-tension arcade-style challenges on the platform.

You control a small cursor navigating a maze of glowing corridors, pursued by rogue AI blobs that grow more aggressive with each level. Your main objective is to survive as long as possible by dropping traps with the spacebar when enemies get too close; timing is critical, as mistiming a trap leaves you vulnerable. The maze shifts subtly between stages, and the neon visuals can strain your eyes during extended play, adding a layer of disorientation to the challenge. It feels like a tense game of cat and mouse where every move counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
