Maze of Flott came out in 1992 as an arcade cabinet release from PixelPulse Studios. It was part of that wave of early 90s games that tried to push sprite-based exploration into more complex, multi-screen environments. You don't hear about it as much as some of the bigger titles from that year, but it had a dedicated following in certain arcades, usually tucked in a corner next to the racing games.

You control a lone adventurer navigating a sprawling, multi-level dungeon. The main goal is to find the four pieces of a shattered amulet hidden in chests throughout the maze. Movement is screen by screen; each new section loads when you cross the threshold. You fight off creatures with a short sword, and you can find a temporary bow in some rooms, which helps with enemies that shoot projectiles. The pacing is deliberate; you have to check every corner, and the enemies respawn if you leave a screen and return, which keeps the pressure on. It feels tense and methodical, like you're slowly mapping a dangerous place with your memory alone.
