The combat uses a customisable folder of Battle Chips; you select attack, support, or healing chips in real time, trying to chain them together for maximum effect. The pacing stays brisk, though some later bosses demand careful strategy and quick reflexes. It feels satisfying to build a powerful chip library and outmaneuver enemies on the grid-based battlefield.
