The whole thing feels bigger, messier, and way more tactical. Those new Liberation Missions? They start off simple, but before long, you're sweating over every move, trying to clear zones before the corruption spreads. It's like someone took the usual combat and turned it into a weirdly satisfying puzzle.

And yeah, Protoman's crew shows up—which, honestly, makes the fights way more interesting. Magnetman's pull-in ability is stupidly fun to mess around with, especially when you combo it with area attacks. The Dark Chips are still there, tempting you with ridiculous damage at the cost of your HP or sanity. I may have caved once or twice when a boss was wrecking me.

It's still got that classic chip-collecting madness, too. Nothing beats stumbling on some busted combo you didn’t plan for and absolutely annihilating whatever’s in front of you. If you liked the earlier games, this one’s worth the time.
