Game Overview
If you've played any of the Battle Network games before, you already know the drill—Lan and MegaMan running around the net, jacking in, busting viruses. But Team Protoman shakes things up in the best way. The second you start, Chaud and Protoman crash into the story like they own the place (because, let’s be honest, they kind of do).
The new Liberation Missions are where it gets really interesting. Instead of just running around hacking enemies solo, you’re suddenly coordinating a whole squad on a grid, taking turns to claim territory and box in bosses. It feels like chess if chess had way more explosions and a moody blue swordsman.
Oh, and Nebula’s back, but darker this time—like, "kidnapping NetNavis and experimenting on them" dark. The story actually goes places, and Protoman’s version has some exclusive Navis you won’t find in Team Colonel. I may or may not have restarted just to recruit them all. No regrets.
Honestly? If you’ve got a GBA and even a passing interest in RPGs, this one’s a no-brainer. Just don’t blame me when you lose sleep over chip combos.
