Play Might and Magic: Darkside of Xeen Online
Explore dungeons, solve puzzles, manage resources, and battle foes as you guide your party to defeat the villain Sheltem in Might and Magic: Darkside of Xeen.
Might and Magic: Darkside of Xeen came out in 1993 for MS-DOS, developed by New World Computing. It was part of a wave of ambitious role-playing games that pushed the limits of what PCs could handle at the time, offering a sprawling world to explore without the hand-holding common in later titles.
You control a party of adventurers, customizing their classes and skills as you venture across the world of Xeen. Your main goal is to defeat the villain Sheltem, but getting there involves navigating maze-like dungeons, solving environmental puzzles, and engaging in turn-based combat. The game requires careful resource management; you need to keep track of food, light sources, and spell components while mapping out areas screen by screen. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be punishing if you wander into areas you're not prepared for. It feels like a genuine adventure where your own curiosity and caution shape the experience.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
