Game Overview

Murder on the Atlantic is one of those games that makes you wish you could experience it for the first time again. You step onto this lavish 1930s cruise ship—think Art Deco lounges, suspiciously well-dressed passengers, and that eerie feeling someone’s watching you—when suddenly, bam, murder. And of course, everyone’s got something to hide.

The pixel art nails the atmosphere—dimly lit corridors, flickering chandeliers, characters who look like they’ve stepped out of a noir film. You’ll poke around cabins, eavesdrop on conversations (some useful, some just delightfully dramatic), and try not to accuse the wrong person. I totally botched my first playthrough by trusting the guy with the monocle—big mistake.

What I love is how it doesn’t spell things out. You actually have to pay attention to alibis, notice when someone’s story changes, and decide whether to press for the truth or play nice. No quest markers, no hints—just you versus a ship full of liars. If you’re into mysteries that make you work for it, this is your kind of game.
