You control Ryu Hayabusa through tight platforming sections where every jump needs precision, and enemies come at you from all angles. The wall-climbing mechanic adds some depth, but it's easy to slip up when you're mid-air with a bat diving at your head.

The difficulty spikes hard in later stages, especially when projectiles fill the screen and platforms vanish under your feet. Some of the hit detection feels a little off, like when you swear your sword connected but still take damage. Still, there's a rhythm to it once you get used to the chaos.
