The AI isn’t messing around either—it’ll punish careless moves, and those supply lines you forgot about? Yeah, they’ll haunt you three turns later when your battleships are stranded without ammo. The dogfights feel tense even though they’re just numbers and dice rolls, and somehow, moving a tiny pixelated destroyer into the perfect ambush position is weirdly satisfying. It’s definitely not for everyone (no flashy explosions here), but if you like strategy that makes you think, this is one of the SNES’s deepest war games.
