Aces of the Pacific came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, published by Sierra On-Line. It was one of the more detailed flight simulators of its time, focusing on the Pacific theater of World War II. You pilot a variety of American or Japanese fighter planes, engaging in missions that range from escort and interception to full-scale carrier operations. The main objective is to complete assigned sorties, earning promotions and unlocking new aircraft. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
