Paganitzu 2 is one of those old-school MS-DOS puzzle games that makes you feel like an actual treasure hunter—if treasure hunting involved a lot of pushing blocks and dodging snakes. You play as Alabama Smith (yes, that’s his name), exploring this massive Aztec pyramid full of traps, hidden passages, and way too many boulders that need rearranging.

The second episode, Quest for the Silver Dagger, is where things get tricky. You’ll be collecting keys, avoiding collapsing floors, and figuring out how to get past those stupid rolling skulls that seem to have a personal vendetta against you. The puzzles start simple, but by the third or fourth level, you’ll be staring at the screen, muttering, "Okay, how the heck do I get out of this one?"

It’s got that classic Apogee vibe—simple graphics, tough-as-nails gameplay, and just enough charm to keep you from rage-quitting. If you’re into retro puzzle games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time capsule from 1991.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
