Game Overview

Pimp My Ride for DS is basically what happens when you mix street racing with a garage full of ridiculous customization options. First thing you do? Pick a junker car—something that looks like it barely runs—then slap on neon lights, obnoxious paint jobs, and spoilers bigger than the car itself. It’s gloriously over the top.

The racing itself is arcade-style, so don’t expect realism. You’ll weave through traffic, take shortcuts, and occasionally ram into rivals just because you can. The controls are simple (it’s the DS, after all), but the real fun is seeing how absurd you can make your ride look before hitting the streets. Some of the decals are so tacky they loop back to being cool.
