Play Pocket Monsters Stadium Online
You pick rental Pokémon and throw them into 3D battles—finally seeing Pikachu’s Thunderbolt actually light up the screen instead of just flashing some pixels. Plug in your Game Boy cart if you wanna flex with your own leveled-up team.

Pocket Monsters Stadium came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, developed by Nintendo. It was one of the first times Pokémon battles moved from the small Game Boy screen to a home console, letting players see their favorite creatures in a more detailed, three dimensional space. The game arrived at a time when the Pokémon craze was still building, and it offered a new way to engage with the series beyond the handheld adventures.
You don't control a trainer walking through the world; instead, you select teams from a list of rental Pokémon or transfer your own from a Game Boy cartridge using the Transfer Pak. The main goal is to win battles across different cups and tournaments, each with specific rules and restrictions. Signature mechanics include viewing moves with much more animation and impact than on the Game Boy, and the ability to save and review match replays. The pacing is straightforward, focused purely on combat, with a difficulty that spikes noticeably in the later cups. Playing it feels like finally giving your Pokémon the arena they deserved.
