Play Prince of Persia on Msdos Online

Dodge guards, time pixel-perfect jumps, and try not to scream when the prince ragdolls off a ledge—this is platforming stripped down to its sweaty-palms essence. That sword clang when you finally parry right? Pure 1989 adrenaline.

Game Overview

Prince of Persia on MS-DOS is one of those games that either made you a legend or crushed your spirit—no in-between. You’ve got an hour to save the princess, but good luck making it past the first few screens without impaling yourself on spikes or getting sliced up by guards. The jumps are brutal, the timing is unforgiving, and that swordfight mechanic? You either master it or die trying.

What’s wild is how smooth the animation felt for 1989. The prince flips, rolls, and stumbles like an actual person, which somehow makes every death more painful. And yeah, later games added wall runs and time rewinds, but this one? Pure, raw platforming. No saves, no mercy—just you and the sound of your own frustrated groans.

Still, nailing a perfect run after a hundred attempts feels like cracking the Da Vinci Code. If you’ve got the patience (or masochism) for retro difficulty, this is the real deal.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
