Game Overview

Project Neptune is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes clunky pixels feel tense. You're in charge of a submarine, juggling oxygen levels and torpedo counts while weird sea monsters and enemy ships lurk in the dark. The first time your sonar picks up something massive moving toward you? Pure panic.

It’s got this weirdly immersive vibe—like the grainy visuals and bleep-bloop sounds actually help the atmosphere instead of hurting it. Half the time you’re sweating over resource menus, the other half you’re white-knuckling the keyboard because something just scraped against your hull. Not sure if it’s a glitch or a kraken. Either way, you’ll be jumpy for hours after quitting.

If you’re into retro games that commit to their weird, moody premise, this one’s a trip. Just keep a stress ball nearby.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
