Game Overview

Puyo Puyo on Game Boy is like Tetris' weird, colorful cousin—but instead of clearing lines, you're matching blobs called Puyos. The goal? Link four of the same color together to make them vanish. Sounds simple, but when the screen starts filling up and your opponent keeps dumping garbage Puyos on your side, it gets chaotic fast.

At first, I just stacked them randomly, but then I realized chaining combos is where the real magic happens. Drop a green Puyo to trigger a match, which makes the yellows above it fall into another match, and suddenly you've got a five-chain reaction going. The Japanese version has this weird charm with all the exaggerated anime voices and sound effects too. You'll either love it or get totally overwhelmed.

It's one of those games where five minutes turns into an hour because you keep saying "one more round."
