Rise of the Dragon drops you into a grimy, neon-soaked LA in 2053 where you play as Blade Hunter, an ex-cop turned detective with a serious case on his hands. The mayor's daughter turns up brutally murdered, and digging into it quickly spirals into something way bigger—think shady syndicates and a lethal new drug. The whole thing feels like stepping into a pulpy cyberpunk comic, with these moody hand-painted backdrops and real actor photos slapped onto characters.

What’s cool is how it plays with time—you’ve got an internal clock ticking away, so you actually need to plan where to go and when, or you’ll miss key moments. Dialog choices matter too; pick the wrong line and you might get a bullet instead of answers. There are a couple of clunky side-scrolling shootout bits (which the Amiga mercifully lets you skip after failing a few times), but mostly it’s about navigating this seedy world and making smart calls before the clock runs out.

The Sega CD version adds voice acting and a weird greenish filter, but honestly? The Amiga’s vibe is the one that sticks with you.
