Game Overview

Road Champs is one of those old-school BMX games where you’re constantly trying to pull off ridiculous stunts while barely staying on your bike. The pixelated physics feel just janky enough to make every jump exciting—like you’re always one bad landing away from eating dirt.

There’s a surprising amount of content here for a GBC game: 27 tracks, 64 levels, and way too many tricks to memorize (I still can’t nail the backflip consistently). The side-scrolling action keeps things simple, but the four different modes—like time trials and stunt challenges—give you plenty of reasons to keep playing. Just don’t expect to become the BXS Champ overnight.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll restart a level ten times just to nail that perfect run.
